With support of Amref Flying Doctors Ngatu town in Kajiado county now also has a prepaid water kiosk. Next to that the church has an individual prepaid meter. Amref is maintaining the water project, but 50% of all revenues flow back to the Ngatu community, which has big plans to expand the water infrastructure. And they can actually dream big, because there are a lot of revenues coming in. After four months of operations, the community savings account already stands at about 85,000 Kenya shilling. This excludes the revenues from the prepaid individual connection.
